Pastor J's Links

  • The Voice of the Martyrs - It’s embarrassing, but most Christians in America are clueless as to what’s going on around the world with our brother’s and sister’s in Christ in other countries. Check out this site to get informed.
  • Covenant Eyes - This is the best internet accountability I know of, apart from God. I’ve been a member for over a year now. If the internet is a temptation to you in anyway, then check this site out!
  • Liberty University - I’m a proud graduate of L.U. Yes, I’m one of “Jerry’s Kids”! If you’re looking for a distinctly Christian education after high school where you still have the freedom to be who you are in Christ, then check out Liberty!
  • "Bono: Grace over Karma" - I’ve been a U2 fan since I was in middle school, but I always wondered where Bono stood spiritually. If you’re a U2 fan, I think you’ll enjoy reading this interview with the man himself!
  • Plugged In OnLine - Media is such a huge influence upon the way we think, feel, talk, and behave. As believers, it’s crucial that we “be-careful” as to what types of media we allow into our impressionable minds. I love this website because it informs me about movies, music, video games, etc. It will help you to make choices that honor God.
  • My Utmost for His Highest is probably the best-selling devotional of all time, and it’s no wonder. I started reading it in college at the recommendation of one of my mentors, and to this day it is still a constant companion. This link will give you the day’s devotion from My Utmost. It will make you think things you’ve never thought, challenge your assumptions, and impact you deeply. I am amazed at how many times My Utmost has spoken directly to what I was feeling and going through at the exact time I was going through it. Follow along, and see for yourself! However, don’t let this replace your time in the Word!
