Speaker - Don Taylor

Don Taylor is the lead pastor at Ni River Community Church in Fredericksburg, Va. He actively strives to tangibly influence the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ with relevance to the culture.

He has spent much of his career seeking ministry opportunities, and started as a high school English, theater, and speech teacher. Don spent almost 10 years ministering to teenagers before he became a school principal for six more years. Since 2000, Don has worked as one of the founding pastors of Ni River. There, he created and led the Worship Arts philosophy and methods, the Small Group connection philosophy, and the New Community Worship service. He is currently leading a building campaign for the church as it looks forward to occupying its first ministry facility.

Don earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Theater Production (with minors in Biblical Studies and Oral Interpretation), a Master's of Arts degree in Speech Communication, and a Master's of Arts degree in Education Leadership. He and his wife, Melodie, have three children, Amberlee, Luke, and Jackson.
